Bus Éireann Expressway Route 32 expands service between Monaghan and Dublin

Two additional return services providing additional capacity

Two additional return services providing additional capacity for customers travelling between Monaghan and Dublin Busáras

Bus Éireann is pleased to announce increased capacity on Expressway Route 32 for customers travelling between Monaghan and Dublin starting this week for an 8-week period. Passengers travelling each way between Monaghan to Dublin will benefit from increased capacity, which will include four new additional daily trips.

This additional capacity will not change the current route timetable but add additional coaches to the existing timetable. Two services will be added from Monagan at 09.20 and 15.20, serving all stops to Busáras. From Dublin, two services will be added at 13.00 and 18.45 serving all stops as far as Monaghan Bus Station.

These new services will also complement the existing Expressway Route 32/X32 services travelling from Letterkenny to Dublin Airport that also serve Lifford, Strabane, Omagh, Monaghan, Dublin Airport and Dublin city centre. Customers can view the full timetable on expressway.ie.

Andrew Yates, Head of Expressway said: “In response to customer demand, we are pleased to add additional services to the current Route 32 service starting from Thursday, 4 July. These additional summer services connect Monaghan to Dublin city centre and are great for our passengers who we know rely exclusively on Expressway services for travel between the two counties. Customers can sit back, relax, enjoy free Wi-Fi, power sockets in comfort without the worry and expense of taxi’s, tolls, or car parking fees. Expressway would like to thank all our customers for their continued support along this corridor”.

This is an extremely busy time of year for Expressway services, we would advise customers to book a ticket in advance on expressway.ie to guarantee a seat onboard and avoid disappointment.
