Enhanced Sligo town service, including new S3 Route
Significantly enhanced services and timetables on Routes S1 and S2, which will come into effect on Sunday, 2 February.
Bus Éireann, Ireland’s national bus company, is pleased to announce a new S3 (Markievicz Road to Finisklin) Sligo town service along with enhanced services and timetables on Routes S1 (Cartron to Cairns Road) and S2 (Strandhill to Rosses Point), which will come into effect on Sunday, 2 February.
- Route S1 (Cartron to Cairns Road) will offer increased evening services from 18.30pm to midnight, including new stops at Hollymount and Clarion Village.
- Route S2 (Strandhill to Rosses Point) will operate a revised route including new stops at Rosses Point Promenade, Oyster Island and Wine Street
- Route S3 is a new route operating from Markievicz Road to Finisklin seven days a week.
- All vehicles on the Sligo town service will use fully accessible buses with low floor access.
